In the sixth novel of the enchanting Rhymes With Love series from New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Boyle, a nobleman falls in love with a beautiful spy he must protect...

Lord Rimswell is a man of honor and absolutes. If he says something is impossible, it is. Yet his life of right and wrong is turned upside down when he finds himself in a compromising situation with the most unyielding, yet maddeningly beautiful, woman in London. If only he had not given in to the irresistible temptation to kiss her. Now he must marry her.

Miss Roselie Stratton is the very definition of impossible—headstrong, outspoken, and carrying a reticule of secrets that could ruin more than her reputation. Kissing Brody is hardly the most ruinous thing Roselie has ever done as a secret agent for the Home Office...nor will she let a marriage of convenience stop her from continuing her work. Little does Roselie realize that she has underestimated Brody's resolve to keep her safe—for he has hopelessly fallen in love with her and is determined to do the impossible by stealing her heart in return.

Susan Duerden continues her excellent narration of Boyle's Rhymes with Love series. Spies, danger, betrayal, a marriage of convenience, and love--these are only a few of the impossible things facing Brody Garrick, Lord Rimswell, and Lady Roselie Stratton. Roselie knows that Brody works for the Home Office, but he's impossibly slow to figure out that she does as well. Together they have to stop a villain who threatens not only king and country but also their family and friends. Duerden's charming and intelligent narration easily convinces listeners the gentleman are dashing, the ladies are clever, and the villains are dastardly. The events in this audiobook take place concurrently with the previous two volumes, so a quick refresher may be in order to avoid confusion. K.M.P. © AudioFile 2017, Portland, Maine

Roselie Stratton doesn't care what her family and friends say about women and espionage work; she knows she has the necessary skill set to succeed as a spy. So she creates an alternate identity for herself as Asteria, who quickly becomes one of the British Home Office's most successful agents. Now, bringing down the Marquess of Ilford will be the feather in Roselie's undercover-career cap, if she can just get old family friend (and perpetual thorn in her side) Bradwell Brody Garrick to stay out of her way. Even though their professional paths have only crossed a time or two, Brody knows there is something very familiar about the legendary Asteria. He is positive he has met the mystery spy before, but under completely different circumstances, though he can't for the life of him remember where. Then Brody bumps into Roselie at Almack's, and suddenly the pieces of the puzzle begin falling into place. Boyle distills her signature irresistible mix of superbly nuanced characters, deliciously dry wit, and potent sexual chemistry into the latest brilliantly written installment of her Rhymes with Love series (The Knave of Hearts, 2016), thus proving yet again why her books are sine qua non for romance readers.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2017, American Library Association.)
