What happens to kids diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD) or attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)? They grow up to become adults with the disorder, of course. Nothing has changed for these individuals except for hopefully their ability to manage their symptoms and live the life they want to live. However, for adults with ADD/ADHD or those who know someone with it, Greenwood speaks from a place of authority when it comes to accepting the challenges and ways to turn those challenges into assets that can be channeled into a successful work environment and productive and rewarding personal life. Greenwood himself was diagnosed with ADHD and runs his own successful PR and video marketing firm. He presents the stories of many others who have also managed to turn their attention issues into marketable skills in the workplace and are thriving. In each chapter, Greenwood addresses a specific topic associated with ADD/ADHD and how to harness and use it successfully. VERDICT Suitable for libraries with developmental disability collections.--Lisa Jordan, Johnson Cty. Lib., Overland Park, KS
