      Aaron the alligator, a character featured prominently in The Cat in the Hat Beginner Book Dictionary, splashes himself with a drinking fountain, tries eating lemons, and goes fishing on a hot summer day. Although both have child appeal, the simple text and art, reprinted primarily from the dictionary, do not hang together to make a story.
